What performance does the product have?
50cc = 2m2

On what materials can it be applied?
It can be applied on plastics, wood, metals, glass, plaster, leather, rubber, etc. It is important that before metallizing these materials they already have a varnish on them; in the case of glass and glossy enameled porcelain, there is no need to varnish previously.
What resistance does it have?
The resistance is the same as that of an automotive paint.
How durable is it?
Durability is related to the sun exposure it has. If the object is exposed to the sun for a long time, it will lose its tone more quickly. It is an ideal product to be displayed indoors.
Can I chrome a mug and then heat it in a microwave?
As it is a metallizer, it is not suitable for use in the microwave.
Can I chrome rusty chrome legs?
If possible. Remember that before metallizing it is necessary to prepare the surface correctly. First remove the rust, apply a primer or antioxidant, then varnish and then the metallization processes.
What base does the piece have to have before applying Easy Croma?
If the object is made of glass or glossy porcelain, it is not necessary to previously varnish it to obtain a mirror effect. On metals, plastics, plasters, wood, it is necessary to apply a glossy base varnish. You can use our Reversador varnish or apply a 2-component high solid polyurethane varnish before metallizing.
For final protection, what product is used?
We also recommend using our Reversador varnish for final protection. If you want to give colors to the varnish you can mix our chroma color toners with the reversing varnish (in the proportion you want) to give incredible chrome colors to your creations, we have green, red, blue, gold, orange, black, violet, pink and copper .
Could it be applied with an airbrush or blowtorch instead of a brush?
Yes, but it has to be a glass airbrush or plastic torch since the product is corrosive and could damage your airbrush or metal torch.
Is it suitable for automotive optics, taking into account that it works with high temperatures?
Works perfectly, used frequently
Can a heat gun be used to chrome instead of a flamer?
No. The temperature of the flambeator is vital to activate the metallizer
Can I chrome motorcycle rims and handles?
Yes, you can, but permanent exposure to the sun is not recommended so that it does not lose its tone.
Can I chrome valve covers or engine interiors?
If there are no problems.
Can I work with Vinyl stencils?
Yes, you just have to try not to burn it with the passage of the flame.
Does it withstand high temperatures?
Our Reversador varnish supports up to 120 degrees Celsius. It is not recommended to use in exhaust pipes or exhaust manifolds.
Can I dip the object in easy chroma instead of using a brush or torch?
Yeah. It is an excellent alternative to leave the metallization process impeccable.
What happens if I have unchromed sectors left?
If after completing the metallization process you have uncovered sectors, wait 30 minutes and go back over where you did not metallize previously.
